About Usha Kiran Moodgal
Usha Kiran, the youngest child of Dr. Purnanand Sharma and Sheelavati, was born on September 1, 1957, in Shahdara. After completing her graduation in arts, she obtained a postgraduate degree in Hindi and History. Her life is enriched by both literature and dance. On January 28, 1987, she got married to Ashok Mudgal and entered into married life.
“Kavya Toolika” is her first composition for which she has been honored with the “Sahitya Stambh Puraskar 2023” and “Best Poetess 2023” awards by Drop of Change Publications. In addition to this, many of her poetic compositions have been published in various joint editions, for which she has received numerous accolades. Some of her works have also been published in newspapers and magazines.
